Evesham Archery Club Tournaments Sunday, May 17th 2009 FITA 70m and Head-to-Head Some archers were kept away by the weather or other commitments, but over 140 turned up and competed on a wet and blustery day. It certainly wasn't the ideal weather for archery, but there was still some excellent shooting under the conditions and some surprises in the head-to-head section. The GNAS website has a fuller report, but congratulations to Tom Barber, Alison Williamson, James Forbes and Jan Howells, who took the honours in the 4 categories. Thanks to everyone who took part in this first ever Archery GB National Series tournament, and we hope to see you again next year, when we'll try to lay on a better day! The weather was dry, if slightly breezy, the 32 targets looked good set out on the main sportsfield, and there was some excellent competition.
