Event Timings:
FOR YORK/HEREFORD/BRISTOLS: Assembly 08:30, followed by 2 ends of sighters. The round will commence immediately after sighters. Equipment inspection will take place during registration and before practice. Please allow at least twenty minutes to arrive before assembly for equipment inspection.
FOR NATIONALS: Assembly 12:30, followed by 2 ends of sighters. The round will commence when York/Hereford/Bristol archers return from lunch. Equipment inspection will take place during registration and before practice. Please allow at least twenty minutes to arrive before assembly for equipment inspection.
Event Format: York/ Hereford & National round including age appropriate distances as required to be shot in accordance with Archery GB Rules of Shooting. Arrows will be shot in ends of 6 arrows in 4 minutes. There will be a maximum four archers per target. Nationals will be shot in the afternoon session.
Awards: There will be no awards, this is a club target day to allow archers to achieve classifications.
Dress: Please refer to Archery GB Rules of Shooting for the dress regulations.
Drug Testing: Archers competing at record status tournaments may be liable to drug testing. Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply. Non-compliance will be treated as a positive result.
Refreshments: Hot food and drinks will NOT be available.
Photography: People wishing to take photographs during the tournament must register their details with the Tournament Organiser.
Special Notes: Archers who are unable to get to the target should discuss their requirements with the Tournament Organiser to see what options are available to aid in scoring and arrow collection. It would be appreciated if archers could provide their own agent where possible.
Practice: Because the club can only assemble the field of play on the night before competition there will be NO practice.
Day Tents: There will be no access to the field for tents until the morning of the event and is at the tournament organisers discretion.
Closing Date: Midnight on 6th July 2025, after which there will be no refunds. ALL refunds will be subject to a 20% administrative fee.
